Why invest with Best Anchor

Fish farming, without the farm work

Running a fish farm takes land, equipment, skilled hands and daily attention. Our investor programme gives you a share of that opportunity while we take care of the work.

  • A real, visible asset: Your own cage on the river, which you're welcome to visit.
  • Experienced management: Run by the 2025 Volta Regional Best Fish Farmer.
  • Full transparency: Stocking, feeding, mortality, harvests and sales recorded in our farm system.
  • Your own portal login: Follow your cage's cycles and statements online, any time.

How it works

From agreement to harvest

  1. Meet & agree terms

We discuss your goals, visit the farm together, and sign a clear agreement for your cage.

  2. We build & stock

Your cage is prepared on the Volta and stocked with quality fingerlings from our nursery.

  3. We feed & monitor

Our team feeds daily and records growth, health and water quality throughout the cycle.

  4. Harvest, sell & report

At harvest we grade and sell the fish, and you receive your statement and proceeds as agreed.

Every agreement is set per cage, so it can be tailored to your plans.

Rental

You pay an agreed management fee for your cage; the harvest proceeds are yours.

  • Predictable, fixed farm fee
  • You keep the full upside of each harvest
  • Suits investors who want maximum return

Hybrid

A reduced management fee combined with a smaller commission on sales.

  • Balanced risk and reward
  • Terms set per cage and per cycle
  • Suits investors with several cages

Fish farming involves natural and market risks. Returns are not guaranteed and depend on growth, survival and fish prices. We'll walk you through realistic projections before you commit.

Investor questions

Good to know

Can I visit my cage?

Yes. Investors are welcome to visit the farm and see their cage. Just let us know in advance so a team member can take you out on the river.

How do I follow what's happening with my cage?

Each investor gets a login to our farm management portal, where you can see your cage's stocking cycles, feeding, mortality, harvests, sales and statements.

How long is a production cycle?

A tilapia grow-out cycle typically takes several months from stocking to harvest, depending on fingerling size, feed and target market size. We'll share our current cycle plan when we meet.
